Este es la Catedral in San Sebastian. Se llama “Cathedral of the Good Shepard” en Ingles, y también en España, se llama Katedral. La Catedral es muy bonito. Este está en el centro de la ciudad. Fuimos a San Sebastian el Viernes pasado. Me gustó mucho.

Michelle y yo visitamos San Sebastian la semana pasada. Fuimos a San Sebastian solamente un día. Cuando en San Sebastian, el tiempo perfecto. También, no hay mucha gente en mayo. En la noche, fuimos a la Catedral y sacamos fotos. La catedral es muy bonita. También fuimos a la iglesia de Santa María. Esta iglesia fue muy cerca de la hotel donde quedaremos. Las dos iglesias son muy bonitas. El día próximo, fuimos a la playa. Nos quedamos en la playa toda la tarde. Me quemó el sol. La playa es muy bonita, y también el agua de la mar es muy bonita también. Después de la playa, compramos helado al lado de la mar. Nos quedamos en un parque al lado de la mar mientras comimos. También, sacamos más fotos de las iglesias, y de la mar. Yo leí mi libro en el parque también. En la noche, fuimos a Bilbao en un autobús. Me gustó esta ciudad mucho. La ciudad es bonita, y también la mar y el muelle son bonitos. Yo en tú lugar, visitaría esta ciudad si quieres viajar en España.

Last Day in SLC

I leave for Spain tomorrow! I can’t believe it’s so soon. I hope that Spain will be an adventure. I hope to actually become immersed in the culture, and in the language. I hope to be able to really speak and understand Spanish by the time I am done in Spain. I think the part I am most nervous about is meeting my host family. Also, I’m nervous about not being able to communicate well at the beginning, which I’m sure will happen, and being frustrated about not being able to express myself. I hope that my host family is interactive, and that I will get a chance to get to know them well, and spend some time with them. I’m really excited for the weekend excursions also, so that I get to see more than just the city. When I’m done with the program, I hope that I have learned the language well, and I hope that I have learned how to adapt to something different from what I am used to. I also hope to become more comfortable travelling independently. In 24 hours, I’ll be at the SLC airport. Spain, here I come!
